Here’s the second episode in my series where I test if AI can really help build a Chrome extension from scratch. After the first attempt with ChatGPT (which didn’t go as planned), I decided to give it another try, but this time with Google Gemini.
The Challenge: I kept it simple, asking Gemini to help me build a basic Chrome extension. The goal was to see if it could handle core tasks like generating the initial structure, managing user interactions, and integrating basic functionality.
The Results: Without spoiling too much, the process was interesting, but not without its own challenges. Just like with ChatGPT, there were limits to how far Gemini could go, especially when things got tricky.
