Welcome to Apillon, your Web3 development platform

There's a new kit on the block.

Apillon, a Web3 development platform, empowers developers to build applications in the Polkadot ecosystem simply through APIs and other linked Web3 services.

What does Apillon mean?

The name Apillon was coined from two separate terms β€” API and papillon.

  • API β€” Application Programming Interface
  • Papillon β€” a French word for a butterfly, symbolizing metamorphosis to Web3

Apillon introduces the most effective way to bring Web3 services to real-life usability through its development platform that provides API access to parachain functionalities.

Rethinking Web3 development

After years of working in the Web3 environment and developing solutions on top of DLT networks, the project team has discovered the need for better tools that would allow developers to adopt the Web3 infrastructure easily and to create apps and products for current and future generations.

Apillon was designed to connect the broader Web3 ecosystem and provide every developer with a common ground to build upon. Instead of having to master complex distributed technologies, developers can simply connect to chosen APIs, call a function, and launch their Web3 products in a much shorter time.
