💡 The Struggle of Learning Alone
Every developer knows the struggle. You start learning a new programming language or framework, super excited. A few days in, motivation fades, life gets in the way, and before you know it—boom! Another unfinished Udemy course, another tutorial left hanging.
I've been there. And I realized something: learning to code is easy, but staying consistent is HARD.
Most developers don’t struggle with finding tutorials; they struggle with sticking to the daily coding habit. That’s when I thought…
❝ What if learning a new programming language was as addictive as a fitness challenge? ❞
That’s how JourneySkill was born.
🚀 What is JourneySkill?
JourneySkill is a challenge-based learning platform for developers. Instead of passive learning, you:
✅ Set a coding challenge for yourself (e.g., "30 days of React").
✅ Track your progress daily with posts.
✅ Get insights & analytics to stay motivated.
✅ Engage with a community of like-minded devs.
No predefined courses. No rigid curriculum. Just you, your goal, and a system that keeps you accountable.
💡 Why Challenges Work Better Than Courses
Most devs fail at learning because:
❌ They watch too many tutorials but never apply knowledge.
❌ They don’t have a system to track their progress.
❌ They lack accountability, so they quit when motivation drops.
JourneySkill fixes this by turning learning into a daily habit. It’s like a fitness tracker, but for your coding skills.
📊 How It Works
1️⃣ Pick a challenge – Example: “Build 10 JavaScript projects in 30 days”
2️⃣ Post your daily progress – Share what you learned.
3️⃣ Track your streak & stats – Stay consistent.
4️⃣ Get motivation from the community – No more learning alone.
✨ Bonus: You get insights on your consistency, completion rate, and more.

huge missed opportunity to show some visuals (screenshots, interactions, gamification), landing page is at the moment working better as repelant than invitation to do something interesting. I have no interest in signing up to another among many platforms, just to realize it has poor execution. Landing page should assure users execution is not poor, at least by promise, but of course it shouldn't lie about it.
