Exciting to see AWS arriving now to the party of fully-automated Kubernetes solutions like GKE Autopilot, Rancher Prime, and Syself, which support more than the big three providers. This more abstracted approach feels like Kubernetes' future.

Yes, its a good update but I still feel its no where close to AKS automatic :D
Also considering the bugs, still need to give some time.
I would have been more happy if it was more cost efficient because right now with EKS Auto Mode I need to pay Ec2 management fees too which varies from instance type to type.

If you are already using EKS and want to use EKS auto, I have written piece for that too with working example , also explained the concept of mix mode clusters so let me know if that helps or if you find any problems would definitely be interested to hear that.
