I learned about the existence of dev.to in it's early days. I met this guy at OSCON 2017 conference in Austin during lunch at a table designated with a "Ruby/Rails" sign. That was Ben Halpern, and I learned that he was a developer with a funny twitter account :)
I signed up for dev.to but never posted apparently. I was heads down in my work projects and life projects :) I recently left my full time employment as a software developer to do my own thing, be my own boss, become self-employed, whatever you want to call it.
One of my goals is to become non-anonymous online. I've decided to do that by writing and teaching! So here I am!
