Some kind of process I think.

If you are a junior dev, you can easily get lost because you don't know what to do next.

Teach them to be more autonomous, because that's what remote working is all about.

Also, code-reviews at least once a week, probably more often, so they get a feeling of what you actually expect of them.

I've lost count of how many times I've felt that what I was doing was all a complete waste of energy/time without proper guidance.
