☀️ What was your summer side-project? Time to shine! 😎 [THREAD 👇]

Hey folks,

2019 summer is nearly finished... so show us in this thread, what was your fun programming side-project!

I'm kinda curious to know what the DEV community was busy doing these past few months.

Don't hesitate to provide a link to your repo or whatever to show us your progress! 🤗

And keep coding 💪

I did a side project in 6 hours (2 nights after work hours) called Postwoman - API request builder and wrote a post about it on dev.to.

🔥🔥 It went viral and gained much attention from open source community. I posted it on Product Hunt and it became #2 product of the day.

Now it crossed 3,000+ stars on GitHub and being used by lot of people.

Postwoman was featured in Hacker News, Indie Hackers, Open source Podcasts, and other communities✨

We're looking for contributions 🦄

I've been studying some techniques to build a webapp where you could discuss random news or themes with random people on internet. I don't know what people would think about it but it seems pretty funny to me.

Looks cool! If it's good for you it's enough to ship it :)

Personally, I've been coding a mobile app for the amateur handball club of my hometown in order to keep up with results and team standings as I'm now far away from it :)
