Seriously, if you can't get this to install/work, then you either haven't followed these easy/simple instructions, or you have some type of OS issue blocking this install.
FYI... To access your fresh phpMYAdmin install, the default Username is: root
There is NO password required.
This was stated in the guide above. But seems not everyone is reading the entire guide, hence issues arise.
Solution... Read and understand the entire phyMyAdmin installation guide.

How do you know what the password is?
Nevermind, found out. In a fresh install of Laragon, username is root and there is no password for the database.
yes, that's the default credential for mysql. thanks for mentioning this, I've added it to the post in case someone wondering about this too.
