Long time ago, there was a Gurukul in a village. In that Gurukul, two boys named Susharma and Krutha varma. Susharma is a good boy who has qualities to respect everyone, and the other boy is Krutha varma, who disrespects everyone.
Who is Good? Who is Bad?
One day, the Guru wants to test the two of his disciples. So, he called them and ordered his disciples to search for the best man with all the best qualities and the worst man with no good qualities.
The evil-minded Krutha varma first set out to find the best man. Everywhere he goes, in every man he meets, he sees some bad quality. He found himself guilty about with his parents. No one looked better to him. But when he thinks about himself, he has everything in him. Good qualities were seen in himself.
He immediately came to his Guru and told him that he was better than anyone else in the world. He told Guru that there is something wrong with everyone compared to him.
On the other hand, Susharma, with all the virtues, came to the conclusion that he was the worst person in the world. Actually, Susharma was the only person who had all the virtues in that Gurukul. Yet he could see the faults in himself and the good in others. Because of his humble obedience and his honesty, Susharma came to such a conclusion.
Hearing the words of Susharma, Guru was very happy. In course of time, Susharma came to be recognized as the wealth of all virtues. But Krutha varma proved himself as a man with bad qualities.
Moral of the story:
Everything in the world looks bad to a man with a bad mind.
Humility helps us to recognize that no one is perfect, including ourselves. When we stay humble, we can see both the good in others and the areas where we can improve. This helps us to grow in a positive way to open our minds and hearts to learn and become the best version of ourselves
