Day One at CodeLand:Distributed — here’s what you need to know.

We can’t believe CodeLand:Distributed is almost here!! 🎉

If you’re planning to join us for day one, here’s everything you need to know.

  • Day one (July 23) is free!
View the livestream of keynotes, talks, and panels at dev.to/codeland.
Day one of CodeLand:Distributed begins at 2 PM UTC (7 AM PDT/10 AM EDT)

  • Social rooms are a great way to connect with other attendees. CodeLand might be virtual this year, but it’s no less social!

  • Career opportunities are an important part of the CodeLand experience. Connect with our sponsors to discover your next great gig.

  • Many speakers will be joining the livestream to answer your questions after their talks, so be sure to ask away in their individual talk threads (these will be published right before the conference goes live). We’ll be randomly rewarding some of the commenters that leave engaging and thoughtful questions with free CodeLand stickers..

... We also want to hear all about your experience on DEV and across social media. Tag your CodeLand related posts on Twitter with the #CodeLand hashtag. We’ll be sharing all kinds of CodeLand goodness on @thepracticaldev, @codelandconf, and @codenewbies too!

See you in CodeLand 🌈

Way to go DEV team! Its very hard to organize a virtual conference and this looks quite well structured. Sadly I cannot attend Day One😩

Very excited! I do wish the time agenda had been listed on the official page. I only just happened to see this post, and I do have work requirements tomorrow so I had originally wanted to plan ahead (which is much harder to do without a schedule). Now, it's too late to be doing that.

Does anyone know where / how to join the Friday workshops' dev connect room? I've had the link through, but it leads me to an error page ("link expired"). I'm new to dev so may well be missing something obvious (apologies!) - but if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great :) thanks!

What about that codeland attendee badge, is everyone getting one, or do you have to attend both days? 🤔

Sorry for the delayed response! You'll get one if you attended day one only! Or both days. They're coming soon. Thanks, Kim!

I was wondering as well.

Since I have never gotten an answer about my 4 and 8 week badges, it would be cool to get a CodeLand badge.
