One of my favorite groups in my early 20's was LCD Soundsystem... they're still one of my faves! All of their songs are good to me, but "Home" is def one of my faves... the lyrics always hit me hard. The music video is super fun too:
Thank you for reminding me
Awww yeah! Happy to do so. They're such a great band. You got a favorite track by them?
Hi, I'm listening to "This Is Happening" right now.
My favorite songs are probably "Somebody's Calling Me" and "Pow Pow".
OOoo yes! "This is Happening" is a wonderful album. And those are 2 damn good ones right there!
I just tuned into "Pow Pow" for the first time in a long while... so good. Following it, the London Sessions version came on too... also so good. 😀
I got goosebumps... so it's very good too... 😀
I hadn't heard this version before. Thx
Woot! You're very welcome. Always nice to bump into a fellow LCD fan! 🙌
Do you know this band? My favorites in my company. Unfortunately, the sound quality on youtube is poor.

Oooo no! I hadn't heard this one before.
This is pretty dang cool though! The music is badass. It feels kinda gyspy-esque and dark... I love the haunting vocal lines that come in during the chorus.
Also, great music video!!
Ooo, my 20s were when I embraced my nerdier musical side. I've always been a fan of nerdcore (mc chris, Beefy, etc.), and I liked a lot of music from anime -- Naruto in particular.
But I think the song I'm going to share is when I first heard of Jonathan Coulton, thanks to this being the theme song of a show I loved when I was 20 (and still do today): Code Monkeys.
Also, this reminds me of a post I saw on DEV a while ago by a programmer with some hip hop chops.
A rapper that just makes painfully true songs about programming

Haha! This is rad. I love his picture with the flowers too! 💐
Aw, man. I'm sad I missed this one. I'm a little late to the party, but here's a loved one harking back to my 20s from The Violent Femmes, sounding surprisingly undamaged by time in this KEXP show from 2017. (clip starts at "American Music", but I recommend the whole show.. :) ).

Haha, better late than never!
This is so awesome, Mary. I hadn't thought about the Violent Femmes in a long while... glad to see (hear!) that they still got it.
What a fun show! I started from your link into American Music (excellent!), but I think I'm gonna have to go back to the beginning to catch the whole show as you suggested.
Guess what I was doing in my twenties (and not that I ever stopped tbh) ;-)
Lol!! This is sooooo good, Valeria. 😆
So I take it you like WoW, eh? Rock on!! 🎸
Guilty! I do :-)

Oh yes!! 🙌 Gregory Porter is amazing and wow, hearing him backed by an orchestra is so nice. I've not heard this performance before, but I love it.
Metropole Orchestra is just wow too. Really looove this performance by Gregory, on repeat
Listening to this right now (me...in my twenties...)
Woooaaa! I like this a lot. It's soooo funky! I'm, watching on YouTube (my platform of choice) and the lyrics are shared on the video... just wow, I really like them. 🙂
Thanks for sharing, Rachel!! This is super cool.
Wow, this is lovely! I really like this kind of meditative, electronic, ambient music. Thanks for sharing, Writwik!
Awesome! What a powerful acapella performance. 😀
Also, such a cool video — I really like the perspective from behind with the tree to the side and the sun coming up!! It's kind of mysterious how we never see the singer's face.
Cool stuff! Thanks for sharing, Rafaf.
