My name is Minoosh. I’m an architect who, at some point last year, has decided to change her career to front-end development. My passion for design, a strong eye for UI/UX, and an interest in the digital world naturally led me to this magical world of coding.
As someone with almost no prior experience in programming, stepping into this field has been both exciting and overwhelming. In the last 4–5 months, I’ve gone through a rollercoaster of emotions—sometimes I feel smart and accomplished, other times I feel frustrated and stuck. Learning a completely new subject after years in a different industry is both challenging and rewarding.
As a self learner, I’ve been focusing on the fundamentals of web development so far:
HTML & CSS: Learning how to structure and style web pages.
JavaScript: Understanding how to make websites interactive.
Git & GitHub: Managing my code and tracking changes like a real developer!(I still need to urge myself to use GitHub more.)
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency is key. The more I practice, the more things start to make sense.
I still have a long way to go, but I’m excited about the journey.
I am also excited to learn more from you and hear more about your interesting projects/ learnings/ ideas!

Chop! Chop! You are wasting your like you young computer science geeks. Or do you prefer nerds. They are also a type of candy so maybe not. Techie is also an option. Not really that important but kind of because it affects the way you interact with the world and you bottom line self esteem (if you don't think highly of yourself, you will end up wasting your youth in a call center like I did. I did help people but I could have done without some of their whinging and more coffee breaks)

I just now completed a book on using Python to automate DevOps. I am a developer to the core and for past few years, I am more into Python. I work as Director of Technology at Nuvento Inc. I am doing a Doctorate in Business Administration with specialization in AI and Gen AI also.
I am a hard core automation engineer, ie I do automate many daily routine tasks to help myself, ultimately helping the organization for efficiency, quality, scalability etc. Id you ask me "when did you wrote a program for yourself?", my answer would be "today". "yesterday" or this
week".
What I did latest is, our company is having an intelligent document processing application. For the product, I asked for the matrices to evaluate the model. The challenge put forward by the team was they miss the grounds of truth. I sat down for few hours, took few hours to get a real time data set and got real data from scrapping the website and created thousands of documents that we could feed to the model and for each document, I created JSON files for grounds of truth. Then I wrote an automation script that will feed these documents to the application, compare the outcome with grounds of truth to get the evaluation matrices.
I am here to share experience and knowledge for mutual growth.

I am Pierre. My background is in programming education and I am passionate about programming languages. My experience as a developer is mostly in C# but it dates back several years. I have taught many languages, including C, C++, Java, Python, Scheme, Clojure and others. Currently I am doing small projects in Rust, which is an awesome language. To stay on top of new developments and the status of the industry I am looking for some "real-world" programming experience. I am spending my free time developing small tools for myself anyway, but it would be interesting to gain some more experience working for someone else. In particular I have very little experience when it comes to project management or client interaction. This is where I hope to find some insights here. On the other hand, I might be able to help beginners with understanding programming concepts and go beyond the learn x in y minutes by gaining a deeper understanding of the foundations that underpin any programming language.
Looking forward to expanding my horizon and exchange experience with you all.
