ASCII art will never not be cool!
Win :
Failure :
started reading new book. But couldn't manage to continue to read for couple of days this week.
Hopefully I will read consistently next week.
I reached a small milestone in dev, 500+ followers and 50k+ views, featured in dev community digest two weeks in a row. Hope to finish some projects on JavaScript this week.
After having been unwell for months, I wrote again on DEV
I love how you can feel the love of your readers here.
Thanks to you all!
Well,
I coded mini websites for my teachers for teacher appreciation week,
Scanning my code and making it more efficient,
Tried thinking of new ideas for my project, but got none (lol),
And I started working on a mini in-browser FTP project!!!!
onlineftp.rf.gd
I published on Dev for the first time in a long time, and I have another post in the works that is short but I'm very proud of it. I wrote my first code pen for it!
Here's my new post: dev.to/brodan/hopefully-an-intro-t...
I added stack traces and debugging instructions, also received and made a few PRs.
But I guess the biggest win is gwion beating luajit (interpreter mode) on the method-call benchmark, by what I think is a fair margin.
looks like I can't the benchmark to show.
here it is:
dev-to-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/up...
Gwion is growing, that's amazing. I always want to learn more
about it... But I have no time! 😭 But when I'm done with university,iI'm definitely going to spend some time with it.
This sounds nice!
Let me know, I'll be happy to help.
I was excited to have started a new front-end developer role! Speaking of which, do you know a polite way to say “no” to a client if they offer me a new project, which I’d no longer have time for? I can’t take on a new developer role and do freelance work at the same time. I searched all over the Internet for solutions, but nothing matches what I have in mind. Help would be appreciated!
Consistency is harder than it looks. Great job!
I got a new Job and finished a final project for college.

I made a PR to the
next-js
repo.I don't know if it will be merged or not, but I am really happy that I was able to make a PR to such a huge repo.
My previous freelance client came back with a new project after nearly 6 months :)
I get a new job
I reached out to Google's disability assistance group to find a way to address my mental health and knowledge/skill challenges. I've dabbled since my Commodore, and I want to keep my fond memories near in my day to day, while being able to help address current and future needs of the Users of our future. There is something very fulfilling in that for me.
This week
Someone reached out and said one of my blog posts has been called "inspiring", and I couldn't be prouder :D
FWIW, the blog post was dev.to/lakatos88/how-to-get-your-f...
Started making a vm and a anime downloader, continued working on an older project and first used git branches without messing it up, trying to make a memory allocator in webassembly using assemblyscript.
Found a way to do an update to a column in a table with multiple values based upon other column values, using SQL CTE (common table expression).
It's the SQL equivalent of Rocket-Science! 😆
Participated in the Bug Smash and smashed two (really small) bugs. Got a new badge!!
Awesome!
Started learning ARM assembly 😪
I launched the website of my CSS-in-JS library, and open-sourced it! Here’s the GitHub repo if anyone wants to take a look: github.com/QuiiBz/niftycss
I reached a milestone of 3k reads. I was looking forward to it some time ago!
I finally got off my butt and learned to create a fastlane > GitHub action to run my iOS tests on push. Which granted is something I should of done ages ago, but better late than never.
I managed my time better, that's all.
I published my FIRST YouTube Video. It's about creating a Node.js Login System: youtu.be/41pbn2I_XkY
Would be insane if you would leave feedback 😇
I released my 1st video on Youtube this week. It's available at youtu.be/CtnKOUDBfEY
I build my first Kotlin/Android app when whatch a playlist from YouTube.
I finally! launched my new site 🎉
