can anyone please explain the relationship between page table and category table in Wikipedia database?

I don't know what the Wikipedia schema looks like firsthand but I strongly suspect a disambiguation or category page is nothing more than a page whose content is oriented towards listing other pages. There's no need for it to be a special case; databases store information, they don't care about meaning.

Yeah, I got what you meant. There isn't a category table in the schema you posted. What makes a category page a category is its content. It's just a special case of a regular page.
