Professional : Pretty productive day. Had a meeting with the full team to discuss objectives and goals for the year. Slack was down. Took a training, updated a project so that it could be viewed in the browser without needing to install it locally to your computer, and worked on some slides for an upcoming online event.
Personal : Got a lot done last night. Picked out the projects I'll pick up on Bandcamp. Researched a way to be able to place the 3D printer in my workshop. Since it has an enclosure already, I just need like a shelf or something to be able to hold it. It's pretty large so trying to find something took a while. So, I found out about server racks and they come with shelves that could hold other items that come with the printer. Now the thing is that I'll need 2 racks to put together so that it will hold the printer. They come with castor wheels, but I ordered some more that will hold more weight and have a pad that can be lowered so it's more stable and shouldn't rock. I also decided that I'll get another set of castor wheels for the other printer enclosure that I'm putting together. Good thing I haven't put the printers in there yet so it should be easier to lift and put in the wheels. Also did a little design work for some prototypes. Asked for some feedback from someone and also asked Google's Gemini to do some research about an idea that I had for an application. Got some really good feedback from both so I bought the domain name and add it to the list of ideas that I'll get to at some point. haha
The 3D printer is scheduled to get here Monday. So much stuff to prepare for. I'd like to have the foam installed in the enclosure. Not necessarily have the printers built, but that would be nice. I also ordered some filament to test out on the new machine. Looking to make a payment for the shed. Pick up the projects on Bandcamp and get the social media posts done. Do more sketching of prototypes. Maybe finally start to watch "Invincible" and the new Spider-man cartoon.
