I created a free tool to make images for your articles and websites. It’s called OG Image Maker.
I built it with React.js, and it works by creating an SVG programmatically which you can then download as a PNG.
Here are some OG images you can edit using the website:
You can edit the text, the colors, images, a button, the background. Pretty much everything!
And it’s 100% free, without any watermarks, and you don’t need an account.
Go check it out at https://ogimagemaker.com

This is so cool! I wanted to build this for a long time. One feature request: I usually create 1 cover that I use for dev.to, but because dev.to has weird aspect ratio (100:42), the cover images usually get cropped in a weird way by other platforms, for example Google Discover. It would be awesome if you could see how it would be displayed by different platforms (Google Discover, Twitter, etc)
I noticed it as well when making this post. A bit unfortunate 😂
Different formats is something I'll have to consider. I'm going to wait a while and collect some more feedback before I add it!
Awesome! If you need any feedback/beta testers let me know. I really need that lol
That's a great too!
Glad you like it!

Sweet! Thanks 😊
This is awesome! I love how simple and accessible it is like no accounts or watermarks. A customizable tool like this is a game-changer for quick, professional visuals. Definitely trying it out!🖤🖤🖤

Good job!
Thanks Sif!
Nice!
Thank you 🙏
Great stuff Eddy!
Great tool!
However, for dev.to, the banner size needs to be 1000x420px, It would be helpful if the size could be adjusted for compatibility.
