I am just dropping a note that I had an ErgoSesh with Brett and it really opened my eyes to some must needed changes home office setup. I highly recommend doing a session for anyone that works long hours at a desk!
It's so great, right?! It totally changes the way I've been approaching how I set myself up for the day :)
Thanks Joe! Glad you enjoyed your ErgoSesh!
Oh my gosh, ErgoSesh is awesome! Brett and I had a great session a few months ago and he really gave me some easy, "you can do this right now" pointers that improved my setup. Definitely recommend a session with him, especially if your current setup is giving you a lot of pain.
Thanks Vaidehi!
Glade to hear your doing well and staying fit at your desk!
Brett is fantastic and so knowledgeable about ergonomics! I had a session with him a few months ago and the simple changes he made to my desk set up have made a huge improvement in my work day. I highly recommend booking an ErgoSesh if you spend long days at computer! Thank you Brett!
Thanks Lionna! We are so happy to be working with Dev and getting to know and help the team out!
This session is so helpful. I forget to stand, move, or change positions in my chair. Love this. Thanks for this education. Working with mindfulness

This is a topic that I've thought about as I increase the amount of time I spend at the computer. I primarily use a laptop while sitting on a couch that is too tall for my feet to reach the floor, so I change from tucking my feet to the side (same side, every time) to opening the recliner. I think that it is affecting my back. It is so great to see there are experts in this area.
Hey Terri!
Thanks for the post...tune in at 6:27pm EST tonight for more ErgoSesh tips!
Ergonomics are so, so, so important, especially in the tech fields!

Especially the chair and the screen height.

Loved seeing the stretches this morning. Do you have stretches and things that can be done while sitting for people with limited mobility? That's been the hardest for me.
Hey Ami!
Thanks for reaching out. Best idea would be to focus on the posture resets that are done in your seat. Also tune in later at 6:28pm EST. Often the solution to the reasons we need to stretch is to address the ergonomic reasons why we get tight in the first place. Our suggestions later should help further with how to set yourself up. In our ErgoSesh appointments we get a full history from you, photos of your space and you in it, then we really can get specific in helping you out. Hope you enjoy the next ErgoBreak!
The doorway stretch felt amazing! Great exercises, thanks for sharing.
That stretch is a must!

I did! And it was another great informative session. Thanks Brett!
I haven't heard the term "hot desk". What does it mean?
The Hot Desk is a new shift in how companies will be returning after COVID-19. You share your desk with other employees who come in on opposite days. You use it Mon, Wed, Friday someone else on the other days. With this, its important to know how to set yourself up as it may change daily once you leave and the next employee comes in.
I love sitting cross-legged in my char while I code. I can't help it! I try to stand half the day though...does that make up for my bad sitting habits? :-P
Hey Kate,
Usually cross-legged sitting is a sign that the chair is not set right for your leg length. . Drop us a line...hint...it's not your habits it's your setup creating habits to compensate. :)
My chair is definitely not right, this is true! But also...my cat prefers for me to sit that way so he can curl up nicely haha
why do we dismiss our pain?
