Elon wants OpenAI... again

This year has already been crazy. But because I'm a programmer I just ignore it like every other error that pops up in my screen.

But sadly I couldn't ignore the fact that the most richest, powerful, and totally not a guy who wants to conquer Mars where I come from, just tried to take over OpenAI... again.

Elon not only tried to take over it, but for a good price of $97.4B! The dude already has a $44B debt in his bank account due to Twitter... I mean his X and now he's adding an extra sum(including other investors) to it.

But sadly SamGPT sad a no and did a counter offer to buy twitter... X, for $9.74B, which if we do the maths and take the fact that twitter is entirely mostly, almost dead, thanks to some good old fashion cost cutting, firing, hardcore only, I hate sinks for some reason, sounds like a good offer.

sounds good to me

Now Elon, being elon did the most elon thing and came up with a brand new legal name for SamGPT.

Now the funny thing about CloseAI is that they have realized that being a non-profit is not worth it as they can make a lot of money if they just charge everyone, because of which they are trying to get out of this stupidly complicated legal structure of insanity into a fully for-profit

what were they thinking?

Now the interesting thing here is that Elon is trying to the buy the non-profit part of this legal insanity. Now if I'm right as per the law no one can buy a non-profit for obvious reasons, but you can buy the non-profit's assets, here the asset of OpenAI non-profit will be the control of the for-profit part of it. Now I'm no legal law guy but I can assure you that this would mean CloseAI would keep up to the MEMEs and turn from
it's mission of creating AI for the benefit of humanity to creating AI for the benefit of the holy shareholders

Yeah Gen Zs are cooked

And let's not forget about good old saudi nutella(Microsoft) also has ownership(minority ownership) of CloseAI. So yeah keep that in mind too.

As far as I can tell this is just straight up companies with an army, or what you can call an invasion by trading companies on innocent local inhabitants.

Now call it AI war, billionaire war, war of the rich, or anything you want to, but one thing is clear -

It's either all for one,
or non for all

That's all for today and let's sleep with one eye open from now on because who knows when these tech bros(just call 'em nerds) will fire the first nuke.
