Top 5 Programming Languages

Hi all,

I was asked recently to make a Top 5 list for the Pondering Nerdcast (video is found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG3ZWgbR7Rk) and my list choice is computer programming languages. I chose the ranking of the following languages because of the following reasons:

5 - Go: Created by Google; Cool name
4 - Python: Easy entry; VERY flexible in usage
3 - Java: Used for Android mobile app development. The majority of phones worldwide are Android phones; Makes sure you understand OOP!
2 - PHP: Easy entry and a large segment of websites are PHP-based because of WordPress; Facebook created their own proprietary PHP for the platform.
And
1 - JavaScript: One of the Holy Trinity (HTML/CSS/JS); Super fun to play with; Challenging but programmers bond around this; And Node JS! And AngularJS!
