Hello dev.to community! 👋

It is with great pleasure that today (after 20 days, since the beginning of this journey) I present to you PreSec, a software I developed to simplify fundamental concepts acquired in the Leveling Module of the Hackers Do Bem course.

It aims to make cybersecurity more accessible by facilitating the execution of commands and scripts, including a Port Scanner and CVE Vulnerabilities Scanner, making it ideal for beginners in the field.

✅ Tech recruiters, partners, and collaborators.
✅ Anyone interested in the subject

Reasons to share this project:

⭐ Improve my portfolio
🚀 Share knowledge
🔧 Provide a foundation for your upcoming projects
❤️ Transform a conceptual idea (🧠) into reality: After listening to various episodes in cybersecurity podcasts, such as the Red Cast (from Redbelt Security), I noticed a latent need in this market - Growing threats and a shortage of professionals - and that's where inspiration struck.

The question that lingered was:

"Wouldn't it be great to have a tool where IT administrators could set up their custom commands just once and then allow anyone, even with basic technical training, to perform less critical tasks safely with just a few clicks?" 🤔

I understand the complexities of the cybersecurity landscape, and I know that this tool, though simple, is dynamic and functional, providing an initial approach to addressing the problem. Even if it only "scratches the surface," I consider it an essential starting point for tackling deeper challenges in this ever-evolving field.

Finally, I am thrilled to finalize the beta version of PreSec and share it with you all. 🥰

Disclaimer:

⚠️ This project is strictly educational, and its use is permitted only in authorized and controlled environments.

The software offers full customization (⚡), granting you the freedom to register and manage your commands and vulnerabilities. Delve into the "Configure" tab (⚙️) to genuinely personalize PreSec. 💪

The primary language is English, but you also have the option to seamlessly switch to Portuguese and Spanish. Additionally, you can switch between Light mode and Dark mode.

Thank you for being part of this exciting journey! Feel free to reach out for more details or collaborations.

Feedback is highly appreciated! ❤️
