Have you ever felt like your toast notifications were... well, a little too toasty? 🍞 You know, the kind that takes over your screen, disrupts your...

This library truly stands out. This logo is very creative. I really liked the part "Why Should You Use This Toast?" on the website.
While I've previously used "Sonner", I’m excited to give Fox a try.
I’d love to contribute to this project as a maintainer. If you are interested, send me an invite.

I’m thrilled to hear that you love the logo and the "Why Should You Use This Toast?" section, it’s always great to hear feedback from fellow developers.
If you’re excited about contributing, you can fork the project and start bringing your ideas to life right away! 🚀 Feel free to explore the code, make improvements, or add new features. Once you’re ready, you can open a pull request, and the developer will take it from there.
Looking forward to seeing what you create! 🦊
What would you say, distinguish it from react hot toast
Or why would someone opt in for a different toast package, if they are already using something like shadcn, and already have option to use sonner.
Just curious.
Great questions! Here’s why someone might choose React-Fox-Toast over existing libraries like react-hot-toast or sonner, especially when using Shadcn:
1️⃣ Expandable Toasts with Smooth Transitions 🔥
Unlike react-hot-toast and sonner, React-Fox-Toast introduces a click-to-expand feature, allowing notifications to show more details only when needed. This keeps the UI clean while still providing rich information when users interact. Plus, when a toast expands, the rest adjust dynamically, no awkward overlaps or jumps.
2️⃣ More Control Over Customization 🎨
Many toast libraries use predefined styles that can be tricky to override. React-Fox-Toast leverages pseudo-classes, making customization seamless without needing !important overrides or inline styles. If you want a toast that fully adapts to your design system, this is a big win.
3️⃣ Lightweight & Unobtrusive 🦊
While react-hot-toast and sonner are great, they come with additional functionalities that might not be necessary for every project. React-Fox-Toast is designed to be minimal, efficient, and fast, focusing purely on delivering notifications in a smooth and intuitive way.
4️⃣ Perfect for Detailed Notifications 📩
If your app needs toasts that display longer messages, logs, or interactive content without overwhelming the UI, React-Fox-Toast is a better fit. The expandable design makes it ideal for dashboards, admin panels, and productivity tools.
5️⃣ Built for Modern UI Needs 🚀
React-Fox-Toast is crafted with Shadcn and modern UI principles in mind, making it a perfect match for developers who want a seamless, elegant notification system that integrates effortlessly into Next.js, Tailwind, and other modern stacks.
So, while react-hot-toast and sonner are great options, React-Fox-Toast is a game-changer for those who need a more adaptive, expandable, and customizable toast experience.
Cool ting my man. Do u have any plans to port this on vue js?
Thank you 💙
The developer can answer your question @sanjay_rajeev_03b25309655 😅
Thanks for asking such a great question! I’m actually planning to turn it into Fox-Toast🦊, which will work across Angular, React, and Vue. My focus right now is on gathering solid feedback from users, making improvements, and ensuring it works well in real projects. Once that’s done, porting it to other frameworks should be pretty straightforward, apart from the testing part.
Cool! I love the Envelope Toast & Drawer Toast - really stand out ❤️
That's great 💙 Happy coding 👨🏻💻
Thanks man for introducing such a fantastic library--i would be very happy to add it on my future projects
You're welcome 💙 Happy coding 👩🏻💻
Great work, I found this package very useful, this is the best toaster package I have ever used.
Thrilled to hear you found it useful 😊💙
