Title: A Heartfelt Request for Reconsideration: Ben Halpern, Jess Lee, and Peter Frank, Please Help Restore My Dev.to Privileges
Dear @BenHalpern, @JessLee, @PeterFrank, and the Esteemed Dev.to Leadership Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with deep respect and a heartfelt appeal to kindly review my current situation within the Dev.to community. I have been an active member since August 2024, and I have always cherished the opportunity to contribute to such a vibrant, innovative, and supportive environment. However, I find myself facing an unexpected and unfortunate issue:
đź’” A Sudden Suspension:
Recently, I encountered an issue where my privileges to comment, engage in discussions, and contribute to the community have been suspended. I want to make it absolutely clear that I have always followed the Dev.to Code of Conduct and have never intentionally violated any community guidelines. My intention has always been to contribute positively, share knowledge, and participate in meaningful conversations with fellow developers.
🌱 A Desire to Contribute:
Dev.to has become a space where I eagerly engage with others, learn, and share my weekly achievements. The discussions in the welcome threads, the exchange of knowledge, and the ability to contribute to others’ growth are what truly motivate me. Being a part of the Dev.to family has been a source of inspiration for me, and I was excited to continue this journey, contributing to various conversations and sharing my thoughts. Unfortunately, due to the suspension, I am now unable to participate as I had hoped.
đź’ˇ Why I Need Your Help:
I’ve sent an email to the Dev.to support team, but I have not received a response as of yet. I fully understand that the Dev.to team handles a lot of requests, but I wanted to directly reach out to you—Ben, Jess, and Peter—because I truly value the spirit of this community and the incredible opportunities Dev.to provides for growth, learning, and collaboration.
I kindly ask if you could help me restore my privileges so I can once again contribute, comment on the welcome thread, and continue to share my achievements with the wonderful Dev.to community. I am deeply committed to this platform, and I am certain that I can add value with my contributions.
🌟 Moving Forward with Positivity:
I strongly believe in the mission of Dev.to and the incredible work you all do to keep the platform a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for developers around the world. I have always approached my participation with a positive mindset and a commitment to help others in any way I can.
✨ A Humble Request:
Ben, Jess, Peter, and the entire Dev.to leadership, I respectfully ask for your support in reviewing my situation and helping me to restore my full privileges so that I can continue being an active, positive member of the Dev.to community. Your guidance and assistance in this matter would mean a lot to me, as I do not wish to miss out on the opportunity to continue learning and contributing to this amazing platform.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I truly appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter. I am eager to reconnect with the community and continue my journey on Dev.to.
With deepest respect and gratitude,
Hanzla Baig 🙌
