It was about five years ago. Back then, I was a developer… well, when I say "developer," I mean just a boy who had just stepped into the world of p...

It's not Google's fault bro. Why you have fallen for 5$ earning. You have to keep your account clean. Google given you access for your apps not for earning 5$ spamming apps. Do good get good. Just think about it you trying to find something useful app and you get thousands of spamming apps. Would you consider play store for app searching then ?
I know 🥲 i was young u know, i know it is my fault, but a lifetime ban is too harsh tho. :(
No problem bro, I suppose you accepted your fault this is ok, I will try to find solutions on it for you.
I understand that there are multiple scammers around the world, which is why things need to be well managed and controlled.
However, in my opinion, the lifetime ban is too harsh, especially if it also includes people who didn't do anything wrong (ethically) but only lacked experience back then.
Maybe Google should reconsider and find a better approach for this matter.
As Ravin also mentioned, a new dev account can be opened using a Company Name and DUNS identifier. I think this should work, and use the company domain to sign up. It might just work.
Thanks a lot for help, but do u think that google will not bann me again even if it recognize my infos ? I mean that the company thing is different?.
Thanks.
Well, now you can pay $5 to someone else to publish your apps. :P
Lol but I wouldn't do that, because I could jeopardize his account too :/
Hard to know this. But thank you for sharing this.
Pay someone $5 on fivr 😆 jk. Hope this can be resolved though. It's crazy to think you cannot start fresh one way or another. Maybe it's the account card holders name?
It is really sad to see this happen. However can't you open a company account using an official company name register? I mean as a personal account you maybe block but there are alternative ways to open up a business account.
play.google.com/console/u/0/signup
Wah .. u did something shady and are paying the price. Thanks for letting everyone else know to not do stupid things.
@johnfx Thanks for your perspective. It's easy to judge a situation with hindsight, but the reality is that I was young, inexperienced, and unaware of the long-term consequences of my actions. If sharing my story helps others avoid similar mistakes, then I guess something good came out of it.
That said, we all make mistakes, especially early in our careers, and it's frustrating when those mistakes are met with irreversible consequences. If you've never made a decision you regret, good for you. But for the rest of us, it would be nice to believe that growth, learning, and redemption are still possible in this world.
you fell for it
Open it under some one else then
Reading that Google notice you apparently were warned several times and did nothing? So why would they possibly think you have changed and reinstate your account now? You f***** around and found out.
@bernard_talbert_e2b47b4b6 You're right that I ignored the warnings, and that’s on me—no excuses there. But let’s be real: this was years ago when I was inexperienced and didn’t fully understand the weight of those decisions. The problem is that Google’s policy doesn’t allow for growth or change. It’s a one-strike system with no room for redemption.
We live in a world where even major corporations, governments, and individuals are given second chances. So, why not young developers who’ve clearly learned from their mistakes? The idea isn’t to escape accountability but to advocate for a fair system that acknowledges growth instead of handing out permanent, career-ending bans for errors made in ignorance.
It doesn't seem fair.all that hardwork and enthusiasm goes in vain because of policy
It doesn't sounds right
