In this session, Carson Miller, IBM Senior Managing Consultant, shows off the work IBM is doing with major sports and entertainment properties around the world, including the Masters, Wimbledon, US Open, ESPN Fantasy Football and the GRAMMYs. She shows you how AI is being used to deliver new insights and experiences to fans and scale the reach of sports and entertainment properties.

The Granite family of foundation models spans a wide range of types, styles, and tones, including language, code, time series, and science, with more in the pipeline. In this workshop, BJ Hargrave, IBM Senior Technical Staff Member, highlights multiple recipes from the Granite Community’s Cookbooks and leads you through a hands-on experience using the Granite models. To work along with BJ, you'll need a device with Python 3.11 and Jupyter Notebook installed, or a device with a browser and GitHub and Google accounts. But even if you just want to watch how it's done, you'll see how easy it is to start cooking with Granite!
