Congrats! Not to be a downer but last week was a breakup on my end. It's better for both of us and about as amicable as possible I suppose 😅
always exciting to see it work out between you 2 kids though! 💍🎩🥳
Match-making isn’t my day job but I know a few single friends who would not mind getting to know a fellow geek available. 😄
If you're ever in Colorado with these friends, we'll have a drink! 😅
Every ending is a new beginning!
So no big news really. 😉 Congrats man!
If you have a Bachelor party, steer clear of the guys below. 🤣
Congrats
Congratulations 🎊

Awesome, congrats!
Boom! Congrats!
I got a new job, starting 1 Jan, with a group of smart people, and 100% remote, working from home :)
Congrats
Congrats
I have just posted my first blog post! And survived the process!
Now I feel awkward and I just want to go back and delete it... but no!
I recently started making videos and I feel the same (look back, cringe and desperately want to delete) but I'm trying to resist the temptation 🙆
Congrats on your first post though, that's very cool 🎉
Thanks! congrats to you too, making videos is even harder I think, at least I am still hidden behind my keyboard. :)
Thank you! I definitely still prefer writing for that reason (being able to hide) 😂👩💻
Does spending more time with family than coding count as a win? Because I feel like it should and that'd be mine 😁
yes!!
Getting a new job!😁 I'm going to be part of a larger team, working on a more complex app and it's exactly the professional challenge I wanted for 2020!
Finally got around to write my first ever tutorial series, which I published here 🎉

Also, I always wanted to create my personal site and never was happy with the design idea. Now I have a design ready and started working on it ✨
Went to production with the complete refactoring (both frontend and backend) of an old tool with terrible UI experience used by our Community Managers: I felt very happy seeing their starry eyes while using it.
I wrote my first plugin for serverless framework. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about how it works and to simplify a lot the post-deployment process of our app.

I watched frozen 2!
I found the energy to write a post about lenses in javascript in english and spanish.
I'm proud because this week my learning led to me being added to a new client project in which I'll be having the opportunity to use Next.js, GraphQL, some Node and all in a different app architecture. I'll be having Real-World practice besides small personal projects! Woohoo!
Published Woof an Ionic+React app to browse doggos 🐶
Just for fun and because I'll present the subject at our next week's local meetup 😉
Launched applibslist.xyz/

Win a bid for an Angular project at UpWork. Learning many new things to get it done and the client is an excellent guy.
Finally nailed down the breast stroke at swimming lessons! 💪😎
Yesterday, I finally nailed the technique for breast stroke at my swimming lessons. It was also the first time that I pretty much did laps non-stop.
For seasoned swimmers, probably not a big deal, but as a kid who did not learn this properly, it took a while to get it right as an adult.
Congratulations! Breaststroke was my worst form when I was swimming competitively 😂
I got my very first Dev interview scheduled!
Good luck! 🤞
Thank you 🥰
Successfully removed sprockets & webpacker (rails) in favor of just webpack in a project that has been neglected front-end wise since the beginning of it. Im pretty proud.
Assets are now generating in 20s instead of 1.2minute, one docker images less is building, 7 gems less, JS is smaller and loads faster.
Overall build on CI went down from 12 minutes to 7-8. which is huge if you are doing X deploys a day.
Authored a minimalist Gatsby starter, it got accepted, that's my first contribution to a major open-source project!
Got the freeCodeCamp JavaScript Algorithms certification.
My post made it to the front page of Hacker News (for like 5 minutes)!
I have finally gone in one night from scratch with that repo which I've called Hashtag and fixed all the paths in Wallstant which is intended to be an abondonware like another attempt to create such site, a guy who wrote a sorte of clone of instagram and called it hashtag.io (which the domain name is taken) it's why I have renamed it Hashtag Social Network as I said last week in the week win thread when I've talked about codeurdejeux.com and seen some opened accounts that I have dropped from the database
And then wrote a story on medium to keep my motivation up to fix other issues and continue to make amazing GitHub repos forks fixed, up and running
Thank you Jess for your positive energy your weekly thread helps focus more
Decided to start writing blog posts again. Had written some blog posts last year which were well received but could not make that a habit. Really happy. As they say the first step is the hardest.
Managed to work 4 days this week on my ebook. Final stretch shaping up well, hope to publish it by next week!
Hey Mateusz you might not have linked the right repo in your comment. github.com/goradio link to an inactive profile on GitHub...
Cool and congratulations for achieving these milestones 🎉
Finally "finished" that one ticket that ended up going on for 2 weeks straight and ended up having
I wrote my first serverless function! github.com/sneakycrow/sneaky-image
I passed my AWS Cloud Practitioner exam on my first try!
Completed my chapter one in the series I'm working on #HTML_WEB_DEVELOMENT_WITH_ANDROID
Finally deployed the site of the non-profit org from india that i've been working with. We can now move on fine tuning the app.
I should learn to start answering this questions weekly. Somehow, just seeing them in the feed makes me sad because nothing comes to mind as I read the question. I feel like I'm just wasting time.
Working on the groud-work for my Podcast show-
