119/365 | ¥10M Job Challenge - Japan’s IT Job opportunities?

The global supply of junior IT talent is declining, but Japan faces even fiercer competition in the AI era due to its lagging digital transformation (DX) and urgent need for corporate restructuring.

In the past, issues such as messy code, chaotic architecture(code & server/cloud configurations), and meaningless naming conventions were common. While AI assistant tools are expected to solve some of these problems in the future, the growing number of people who rely solely on AI without real-world experience will increase the burden of maintenance and further development.

I think you and I both know that the IT industry struggles with issues of "negative productivity and technical debt."

In the coming years, I believed that engineers with extensive experience and diverse skill sets will remain in high demand. Relying solely on coding, operations, or testing will no longer be sufficient to meet industry needs.

Looking ahead to the next decade, the rapid adoption of DX and AI may exacerbate Japan’s shortage of IT professionals with broad knowledge and strong integration capabilities.
