There’s been a flood of AI evaluations and mini-games designed to assess model performance—it’s probably one of the most common things on SNS lately.
But in reality, even for small features, I often find that writing code myself is faster than debugging AI-generated code. Plus, I don’t have to spend time crafting extensive prompts and making multiple adjustments. The key issue is that AI’s problem-solving abilities are still quite limited.
Independent thinking remains crucial. There’s no need to panic every time a new model is released—it might not be as big of a deal as it seems. As AI gets more powerful, it ultimately becomes a more useful tool for my work. Of course, as I’ve mentioned before, this all depends on strong interpersonal communication, accountability, integration skills, multidimensional analysis, and complex problem-solving abilities.
