Recently, I started working on a task involving delegation. In the IT industry, even managers may not necessarily be able to get engineers to do what they want, let alone colleagues who are also engineers.
Even when documentation exists, if it’s too complex due to how it was originally written, it can lead to other team members being unwilling to read it or simply pushing the work back to you. Therefore, my task for tomorrow is to create documentation and simplify those complex steps by rewriting it in a clearer way, which might take about an hour. However, today, just dealing with work interruptions already took about three hours.
Additionally, before finishing tomorrow's work, I need to think about the content for next week’s regular meeting so that my Saturday and Sunday can be completely free for my own time.
