The pace of change in the AI world is incredibly fast. After the release of the new o3 model, the gap between it and o1 has become overwhelming.
I believe that in specific areas, such as mathematics or coding skills, achieving 100% proficiency through learning is possible. However, I also believe that even if 100% is achieved, it would only apply to specialized fields. Most software engineering work isn’t purely about math or coding, it’s about navigating the complex relationships between people, as well as dealing with ethics, laws, and other aspects that AI cannot fully handle.
No matter how AI develops, the ultimate decision-making power will always rest with humans. If humans choose to integrate AI into nuclear weapon systems, it is still humans who must bear the consequences. This is something beyond our control. However, in the workplace, if humans are ultimately the ones held accountable, then AI can never fully replace this aspect.
Perhaps I’ll share more of my thoughts in the future. After all, ideas alone have no value—what really matters is how you turn your ideas into reality.
