I am joining new organization after two weeks. Please share best practices, tips, tricks those I can start from day 1.
E.g.
- Write notes to OneNote from day 1
- Write code setup guide while you are doing if not available
- Collect Email/Names of important people (required initially)
- Outlook - create search folders / setup rules

Be curious about the business flow, if you understand that well, you will build better stuff and write better code.
Understand where your work comes from, and what happens to it when you're finished.
Learning the larger process can help give you a better idea of where you fit in and how much you're accomplishing.
