The Hardest Truth

Almost 4000 years ago the scene drawn above was cast over Djehutihotep's tomb.

As the governor of Egypt passed away the story of how a massive statue of him was transported needed to be told one last time.

Humanity has made incredible leaps.

  • We have flied and traveled to the Moon in less than 100 years,
  • We can have a call in real time from different continents for free,
  • We eradicated diseases and invented a vaccine to stop a pandemic.

But the way we work at creating front-end software is the same the people pushing the statue of Djehutihotep used.

šŸ‘‰ 2 or 3 of them direct the work and say where things should be moving.

šŸ‘‰ The rest listens and executes.

āž”ļø The designers design in Figma.

āž”ļø The developers build everything with code.

With only one difference.

Everything now happens on a software.

And if designers design on a software what developers implement in software, there must be a way to bring software on the front line.

And well, there is.

It's Polipo.
