This is a weekly posting, covering the latest updates from the Angular community.
Results of Developer Survey 2021
Minko Gechev, a prominent member of the Angular team, published the results of the developer survey they ran a couple of months ago. We can see that about 66% of the respondees are very positive towards the framework. We can see a trend, where the larger an application is, the happier developers are with Angular.
Possibilities to improve are in testing, debugging, and performance. The Angular team is working on that. For testing, there are cooperations with E2E frameworks. For debugging, we have the Angular DevTools, and for performance, Angular is working on improvements in server-side rendering and other aeras.
Deep-Dive Talk on Performance
Speaking of performance, we had a meetup of Angular Vienna last week. Michael Hladky gave a deep-dive talk where he showed several strategies/approaches on how to squeeze every bit of perforamnce from Angular.
And if that's not enough, RxAngular, which is a library, will give you a further boost. Next to Michael, Madleina Scheidegger gave an update on the State of Angular, and Tracy Lee talked about how to contribute to Open Source. The recording is available on YouTube.
