What technologies do you recommend for developing an affiliate network marketing platform?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into developing an affiliate marketing platform that works like a network, directly connecting merchants (advertisers) with publishers (affiliates). My idea is to create something that can both manage affiliates and track clicks, pixels, postbacks, conversiones and commissions.

So I wanted to ask the community of developers:

• What technologies do you recommend to work with these kind of project?
• Have you developed or worked on a similar platform? If so, is there a technology or architecture that has worked particularly well for them or something I should avoid?
