This is a submission for the 2025 New Year Writing challenge: Compiling 2025.
On your mark, set, go! And so we have it folks, 2025 has blasted off and is in full throttle. Seeing as we are already into the second month of the year, we can all agree that 2025 will be a fast one, which means we have no time to waste on achieving our goals and aspirations. That being said, here are a few things I plan to achieve before the year runs out.
Complete my portfolio - For the life of me I can't seem to ever get to finishing my developer portfolio😩. Although I was lucky enough to land a job without it😅, but still it's something that I really look forward to completing this year.
.Learning creative development - If you have visited any 3D site you would know what I mean😊. I plan to take my development skills to the next level by building immersive interactive sites that can be viewed through a VR lens. How cool would it be to set up your site to be accessible in the metaverse😃.
.Learn a new programming language - Right now I would call myself a Javascript developer. Most of the stack I use for both front and backend development is Javascript-based. I am looking to add Python to my skillset.
Well, that's it for me guys😊. I tend not to have a long list, as that might become overwhelming to achieve and ultimately counter-productive. Coupled with the fact that I'm still schooling and now also working, fingers crossed, I will have a major update on these goals I have set for myself by this time next year.
