I know a bit about the MB diet, but I must say I find it rather off-putting: the complexity (especially when going more in depth), the origin, the science...

Later I learned about the Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) and that clicked much better with me. There are a lot science to it, many big name MDs (many with PhDs) actively promote this diet. It had been scientifically demonstrated to reverse certain diseases. And it is not very complex!
