To start Technical writing one must know which field he is comfortable in writing. Suppose you have knowledge about web development you can write blogs to guide beginners on how to start and projects they can make. If you are a Data Science or Cybersecurity guy you got your niche! . Blogging is very broad, so defining your niche would be the first step. A focused niche helps you attract a specific audience

Grammarly is an AI assistant that helps you with checking your typing error, punctuation, and spelling mistakes. help you improve the clarity and style of your writing. Grammarly can be added to your desktop and it appears whenever you are writing whether it’s even an email or Microsoft Docs. All wrong spellings would be underlined with red and if you click on the word correct spelling is displayed, it also helps in transforming a sentence into a well-structured one with punctuation. Trust me even if your first language is English it is a needed tool for writers. And below is an example of how many mistakes I made in one paragraph :(

Notion is a web-based application used to organize work. You can categorize your own home page with different types of subheadings like tasks manager travel planner, habit tracker, and meal planner. This platform helps you to keep organized and if you are just like me who gets ideas for blogs or hackathons while continuing with the day you can just jot it down in your notion app and brainstorm about it later. You can even link the calendar with notion and get a notification before tech events day. You can also track what DSA questions you have cracked till now. Nonetheless, this application is useful for many.

Canva is a graphic design platform that allows users to create visual content. It is available on both desktops and phones. Canva can help you with creating the banner of the blog just like I used in mine. One can also use it for generating AI images and presentations. Canva is easy to use as it provides templates for banners and you can even customize your own. You can use Canva to design blog banners, featured images, Pinterest pins, Instagram posts, and even eBooks to enhance your blog’s visual appeal and engagement. Excalidraw is a web-based collaborative drawing tool that allows users to create hand-drawn style diagrams, sketches, and flowcharts with a simple interface, ideal for brainstorming sessions and quick visual communication. If you are writing a blog to educate then you can use flowcharts created by you to simplify a topic for your audience. Other than using it for just to write a blog one can also use it to summarize notes and mindmap.
