Another week of my coding journey is in the books, and Iβm thrilled to share the progress Iβve made during Days 87β93. Each day brought new challenges, exciting lessons, and rewarding accomplishments. Hereβs a recap of my week:
Day 87-88: Building a Blog Post App with an API
This project was a deep dive into APIs, and I learned:
β
How to use GET
to fetch and display blog posts π
β
How to use POST
to add new posts π
β
The fundamentals of REST and API design principles π
By the end, I had built a functional blog post app that showcased everything Iβd learned so far. πͺ
Day 89-90: Color Scheme Generator π¨
After a short break, I picked up where I left off on my Color Scheme Generator project. Using a color API, I:
β
Finished the project and added a user-friendly interface
β
Revised previous lessons to refresh my JavaScript knowledge
β
Started learning Async JavaScriptβtackling callbacks and promises

Day 91-93: WAR Game Project
Inspired by my lessons on callbacks and promises, I began and completed a WAR game project on Scrimba. This project took my skills to the next level:
β
Built card drawing and displaying functionality π
β
Styled the cards to give them a polished look β¨
β
Refactored the card placement logic for efficiency
β
Added features like determining the winner, keeping score, and displaying the final winner
This was such a fun and creative project, and Iβm proud of how it turned out!
Whatβs Next?
Iβve grown so much during Week 13, and Iβm excited to keep pushing forward. Up next, Iβll reflect on my lessons from this week while diving into new projects. Stay tuned for more updates as I head into the final stretch of my #100DaysOfCode challenge!
