I just started working at Yugabyte this week. We make open source YugabyteDB – the leading high-performance distributed SQL database – and are launching our DBaaS, Yugabyte Cloud, soon (join the beta here).

I'm going to be writing about distributed SQL databases and how to use them for building applications, self-hosting, etc., and I'd like to write things you would find useful.

What do you know about distributed SQL databases, and what would you like to learn?
