I have to **reject **your premise that Musk is an innovator.

  • Tesla existed prior to Musk and his money.
  • SpaceX was created with Musk's money and his desire to "go to Mars". The SpaceX team already existed and was steered by Jim Cantrell(Phantom Space Corporation) and Robert Zubrin (Mars Society)
  • Neuralink founded by Pedram Mohseni and Randolph Nudo and yet again, Musk investment
  • Boring Company isn't anything new. Boring machines have existed prior to Errol's seed. In fact, the Ontario power Generation owned and used the largest ever to tunnel for more water to Niagara Falls hydro electric. RIP Big Becky!

Now, open source, copyleft or GPL if you will, have been around since the late 1980s. We have all used, supported, and even contributed to open source. Many of us actual developers/programmers champion this and agree with its use. The problem is when greed enters and some start charging for their software.
