Report and thank you
I have requests at the end.
Please read this page for everyone, whether you are interested in Android development or not.
Hi, I'm zmsoft.
I have registered with dev.to on March 16, 2024.
It has been about half a month since I registered, and I am very happy to announce that I have more than 1000 followers.
As this was my first time to blog, I had many doubts about what I should write about, but I am happy and surprised to realize that I was able to write something that would be of interest to everyone. First of all, I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following me.
Blog Background and My Thoughts
I started my first activity as an individual developer by registering as an Android Developer in December 2023. After that, I released the application but felt the hurdle for new developers due to the closed testing requirement by 20 people added by Google just then. From there, I thought, "Other developers must be having trouble too, so I want to do something about it. Development should be freer and easier." I have created AndroidDevelopersPayForward was developed as a free mechanism for developers around the world to easily collaborate with each other. I was hopeful that many users would take advantage of this application, as developers who participated in the testing commented that it was a great initiative/application. However, after its release, the number of downloads did not increase, and I realized how difficult it was to "get people to know about it. I then made a decision to make an effort to let many people know about it. After that, I did many things that were new to me. I started a website, posted videos on Youtube, used SNS, and exchanged information with other developers and people of different languages. Blogging is also a part of this. Although I have not yet achieved my original goal, I am happy to have achieved one of the results.
Requests
I am pleased with one result, but as stated, I still have a ways to go.
So, please allow me to ask you to use app and promote it. If you share any of my ideas, please do me a favor.
1. Request for installation and testing of registered apps
My apps are finally valuable only when they are used by many developers.
I am convinced that there is no mistake in my own efforts. However, I need the cooperation of many developers to make this happen. If you are at all interested, please try it.
To you, who are currently working on closed testing.
Please make use of the application for your application release.
To you, who are just starting out in Android development
Please try out apps from different developers and use them to help you decide which app to build.
To you, old-school developers.
Please use it to find inspiration for your own new apps.
You may also want to prepare for Google's expected changes to the scope of the rules by actually knowing what the tests are like.
I would appreciate it if you could help me and future developers with a "let's give it a try" feeling.
2. Request for information dissemination
I have received access to the application from 29 countries, and while I realize that "developers in every country are in trouble". But I also feel that there is a limit to how much information I can personally send out to "let people know" about the application. I am sure that the cooperation of each and every one of you is necessary for this project.
To you, who have many friends.
Please share this blog on your own blogs and social networking sites.
To you, who have development-related websites
Please link to my site and let me link to your site.
To you, who are having trouble with testing.
Please share this information with other developers who are also having trouble.
3. Request for comments
Although I believe that my ideas are correct, I sometimes feel frustrated when I try something new. While there is still so much to do, what I need to stay motivated is, above all, feedback. Your thoughts, advice, etc. would be very encouraging, so please leave a comment.
I would be happy to help you with any of them.
Finally
There are many things I need to learn and many things I am lacking both as a blogger and as an app developer, but please continue to support me if you like.
