Professional : This time of year, it seems like everyone wants to have meetings. haha. Another day full of video calls and not enough time in-between to actually get something done. We did plan out things for next year though. I'm going to finish up a document that is due tomorrow.
Personal : I printed a bunch of things last night. Mostly things for the printer itself. Like a dust cap, a holder for the build plates, a part to help make removing a tube a little easier and a part that will allow me to use a spool outside of the container without having to disconnect the container. I also went through a bunch of tracks for the radio show and picked up some items for the printer. Did some research on a filament manufacturer and bought a spool to try it out and see if I like it. It's a color that isn't available where I have been buying filament. If it prints well, I may have a new place to go to so I can have a wider range of colors to choose from. Ended the night watching the last episode of "Bleach". I've also realized that there is a whole new season of "The Rising of the Shield Hero" that I did not know came out. I'll have to start fitting that in.
Been printing the waste (or poop as they call it) chute and basket for the 3D printer all day! I finally chose the model to print. I think this one will work because it even has one to accommodate the anti-vibration feet that I added. All the comments and photos of prints others made looked good. Once that's done, I think I'll have all the things I need right now for the printer to get started on printing things I make. I've been playing with the model for a key chain that I want to print and show a friend that throws parties. Could be a cool little add on to sell at the shows. Hoping it could turn into orders in the new year. I need to start drying the filament so they print properly. It could take a while. This will be the first time that I print with this material. We'll see. I'm going to spend an hour to finish up the document for my job, so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I'll go through tracks for the radio show. I want to download the key chain file and see how it will look in the 3D printer software. Maybe end the night watching an episode of "The Rising of the Shield Hero".
