Cars.ng is a digital platform connecting car buyers, sellers, and enthusiasts, aiming to simplify vehicle transactions and information discovery. As part of an exploratory testing task, I set out to analyze the platform's user journey on both desktop and mobile views, identify usability issues, and document findings. This blog post captures my experience, methodology, key findings, and recommendations for improving the platform.

**During testing, I uncovered several issues affecting user experience and platform functionality.
Below are highlights from the bug report.
Result

  1. The user was able to log in with an invalid email (http://cars.ng/)
  2. The user was not able to submit details for notification(http://cars.ng/)
  3. Not able to view the car's full image (http://cars.ng/)
  4. The user was not able to see any favorite icon (http://cars.ng/)
  5. The user was not able to click on forgot password (http://cars.ng/) Recommendations for Improvement Based on my findings, here are suggestions for enhancing the platform's overall user experience:
  6. Responsiveness: Ensure that all interactive elements, especially the search bar and filters, are fully functional on mobile devices.
  7. Error Validation: Error messages should be more clear for incomplete user input during sign-up and other form submissions.
  8. the password should have an eye icon for the user to be able to view the inserted pin.
  9. Optimize image loading times to improve page performance and user engagement.
  10. Maintain filter selections across user interactions to improve usability. Exploratory testing of Cars.ng was an insightful experience, highlighting the importance of thorough testing in maintaining a robust digital platform. With focused improvements, Cars.ng can offer an even smoother and more enjoyable user experience. *For more details here is Spreadsheet Link. * https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hoSKOmB4PySpVk1kQAdsU9YK4s4VOLLO4i_57h-b9a8/edit?usp=sharing
