The weather in Tokyo has been cold lately, and with the flu going around, almost everyone has caught it. I’m fine for the most part, but I’ve been feeling unusually fatigued—probably a sign that I should be more careful. So tonight, I shouldn’t stay up too late.
Speaking of sleep, I remember hearing people advocate for staying hungry and sleeping less to maintain alertness, just like our ancestors did, supposedly to improve concentration. There’s also that common saying: "You can sleep all you want when you're dead, so don’t waste too much time sleeping now." A lot of people throw around these kinds of ideas, but I completely disagree.
When you're stressed or struggling to sleep, just eat something—sleep should always come first. Plenty of studies have shown that sleep is crucial for learning. Lack of sleep doesn’t just harm your body; it takes a serious toll on your brain as well.
The people who start these kinds of extreme routines(challenges) usually have strong bodies, sharp minds, and exceptional focus. As for me? I don’t have any of that. I just want to change my life and refuse to give up.
If you're like me, let’s take it one step at a time and keep pushing forward together!
