Messy code—once again, we have to go through it piece by piece, identify the issues, and carefully fix them to avoid unintended side effects. At times like this, AI is still of little help. In fact, it often just makes the code even messier.
It reminds me of the recent trend: "vibe coding is the future." Maybe it is—for some. After all, if you're building low-value games or apps just to gain traction on social media, it can be pretty useful. But that’s definitely not my future.
If everyone jumps on the vibe coding bandwagon, I might just end up with an endless stream of bug fixes to deal with.
