I'm looking to buy a webcam for my home office. The one on my laptop works quite well, it's just when I'm in a video call, my laptop is to the left or right of me as my external monitor is in front of me, so you always see my side profile.
I'm looking for a webcam I can mount on my screen or sit on my desk so I'm looking directly at the webcam. Some Googling produced some decent results, e.g. https://www.techradar.com/news/computing-components/peripherals/what-webcam-5-reviewed-and-rated-1027972, but I'm wondering what recommendations people may have here.
I'm not looking to break the bank on this, so probably max 100$ CAD.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I have the "Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920". I bought it a year ago and still like it.
I think that’s the one I’m going to get. Thanks for sharing.
Second this recommendation.
Most of my gadgets have been bought after reading The Wire Cutter, I don't know about specific models but I usually start from there :D
They do have a post about webcams - thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best... - and the chosen model seems well below 100 USD or CAD
Cool. Thanks for sharing @rhymes !
I have a Logitech c920.

Logitech C9xx series have been great for me. I recently replaced one with a Brio to try out.
The Logitech BRIOs are really really nice. The C9XX series ones like other people have mentioned are good as well.
