HQ Updates
What's happening at Rails Designer HQ aka me sipping coconuts in a hammock. ποΈπ₯₯
π Rails Stats
A fun side-project I am launching is Rails Stats. View the LoC from small Rails apps to the bigger ones (inc. the OG; Basecamp). You can add your own app's stats here. It's also open-source, so β it on GitHub and maybe contribute? β€οΈ
π Rails UI Audit
I am trying something new: Rails UI Audits. π (There is a 50% launch-discount! π€). If you want to improve your Rails appβs UI and usability but arenβt sure where to start, or if Tailor-made UI is too much for you (see below), I can help you with some guidance. You will get high-impact, easy to implement improvements in a tidy report. π Read all about it here.
πͺ‘ Tailor Made UI
Also this year I hope to help a few new teams up their Rails app's UI. I'm currently already fully booked, but some slots open up starting from March. It's first come, first serve, so do not wait to reach out if you want 2025 to be the year you will wow your app's users. Read about how I can help you with your UI here.
π· SaaS in a Month
Last year I helped three others start a new SaaS apps in a month. This year I hope to help kick-start another three SaaS products build in Ruby on Rails again. It could also be an internal app for your business, so your team can focus on your main business. π‘
What's new in Rails Designer's UI Component Library
The biggest change is Rails Icons being added by default. The reason is three-fold: every modern Rails app needs icons, Rails Icons is now really mature (with support for many libraries out-of-the-box) and, for me personally important, it was a development chore to keep the option in the library.
The last release saw the addition of a custom Form Builder, the next releases there will be more additions to it. This time a cool radio-type pill input and a toggle checkbox.
For all updates check the complete changelog here.

As always; love to read your thoughts on all the new stuff. And also interested to hear what you really would like to see from me (the library or the services) in 2025.
