Open-Source will make you richhhh! πŸ€‘πŸ’Έ

YESSSSSSSSSSSS! YOU READ IT RIGHT πŸŽ‰

Open-source will make you rich. And, I'm NOT lying! Open-source is something like an ocean. "The deeper you dive, the more uniqueness you find" - RS (not sure, maybe someone else told this earlier πŸ˜‚).

In this blog, I'll be trying to make you rich. But remember, you must have talent and sufficient knowledge to get this. Else, some one will take it.

Let's start this blog... 🐒

Β

Big Question: How OS can make you rich??? 🎑

Some organizations add bounty in their project to keep their project alive and popular and to boost their community! They want to reward people for completing specific tasks or behaviors, which can help achieve a goal or solve a problem

Bounty
/ˈbaʊnti/

  1. A bounty is a reward that is awarded for doing something that others can't be able to do.

  2. In the Developer's world, bounty is a reward, mainly currency, awarded to those who solve/fix/find/document a particular issue for an Organization.

Β

It's time to get RICH! πŸ’°

Here's a table with Issue Name attached with the corresponding link and the Bounty on it!

Β

C'mon that's barely enough to buy a burger at McDonald's. Click baiting with the "Rich" claim.

From which Galaxy do you belong? What's the price of a burger there?

The price of a Lamborghini(in my uni) should be equal to the price of a burger(in your uni) 🀣

Never mind, I understood your context. But there are more bounties coming, and that may you rich. Remember, solving a bounty issue will not only award you the bounty price but also a good reputation. You may land a good job from this and thus, would be able to buy a Lamborghini.

I don't why I didn't explain this thing in the blog. πŸ˜…

Edit: @paraspl01t I have a yellow one (of course a toy one; in India I used to buy the mini-models of branded cars at 5 INR. Missing those days πŸ™ƒ). By the way, read this entire message!

In Brazil, 1850 USD is a relatively huge amount of money: some R$10.000,00. For context, this is over seven times the monthly minimum wage, around 3.5 times the average worker's monthly wage, or the equivalent of the entire annual earnings of roughly 35% of Brazilian families.

Never lose sight of how blessed you are to work in one of the highest-paying fields.

He's working in India. The US dollar is worth a lot more than the Rupee. $1 = β‚Ή84.37 . So,
$250 = β‚Ή21093.53 = "rich"

Everyone has different angles of thinking. πŸ˜‰

$250 = β‚Ή21093.53 = "rich"
This amount doesn't make us rich. But the reputation we got, surely does!

Wow, I gotta start shopping for a new home, perhaps even a mansion.

Jokes aside, I think there are many sharks out there taking advantage of open source. It's nothing new though, "businesses people" have learned a long time ago to take everything for granted, free products, free work, free minds. The good businesses are those who also contribute, not just take.

This is a great system. As a business that uses permissive open source in our commercial products. Often there are things we want to add/update but the upramp costs of finding someone, them getting familiar with the code base etc. eat up the budget.

We actually WANT to contribute in a cost effective way.

Will be looking into how to get bounties added to some projects!
