I’ve been working within Developer Relations (DevRel) for over two years now. That’s as a paid employee. But I’ve been doing a lot of what DevRel is in my own spare time for over 4 years now.
Over that time I’ve learnt a lot, through my own personal successes and failures. And through interacting and working with others in the space.
I’ve also formed some opinions on what DevRel is, how to be successful in that space and how it needs to change.
As such I am in the process of writing an e-book!!
Yes, an e-book. The title is “DevRel for Beginners: What to Know and How to Get Started”.
The book aims to talk about my experiences of DevRel and touch on the subject that you do not need to be a developer to work in that space. DevRel needs to be more inclusive.
The e-book is available for pre-order now, at a discounted rate for pre-orders. I am aiming to release the book in early February 2022!
