How to enable built-in features on Microsoft Windows

Introduction

There are certain built-in features available on Microsoft Windows, examples include Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, in this article you'll learn how to enable these features among others.

Kindly perform the following steps:

Step 1

Launch the Run dialog box by pressing Windows key and R simultaneously, this should display the Run dialog box, then type control appwiz.cpl.

This will display the Program and Features window in the Control Panel where you can uninstall programs from your system.

Step 2

On the left side of the window, click on Turn Windows features on or off.

This will show the following window:

That's it, from this window you can enable or disable the features you want (or don't want).

NOTE: The Windows Key is the key on your keyboard with the Windows logo on it.
