From Doubt to Determination: My Journey to Breaking Barriers in Tech

I never had an easy start. My journey in tech wasn’t just about learning to code or building projects—it was about fighting battles that no one saw.

💔 Battling a Toxic Environment & Overthinking
Growing up, I faced constant negativity from my surroundings. My parents didn’t understand my passion for tech, and instead of encouragement, I was met with doubt, criticism, and pressure. Every decision I made was questioned, every setback was amplified, and every success felt like it wasn’t enough.

🔹 "You’ll never make it."
🔹 "Why waste time on this?"
🔹 "You should follow a safer path."

The weight of self-doubt and overthinking crushed me. I questioned my own abilities, wondering if I was good enough to break into tech. But deep inside, I knew I had to prove to myself that I was capable.

🔥 Turning Pain into Purpose
I found solace in technology. Late-night coding sessions became my escape. I taught myself, experimented, failed, and learned.

Despite the toxic environment around me, I built:
✅ TestVault – A platform helping students with exams through AI-powered simulated tests.
✅ Real-Time Bus Tracking & Crowd Estimation – A solution to help daily commuters navigate congestion.
✅ AI-Driven Women’s Safety App – Using NLP, computer vision, and real-time monitoring to detect harassment and scams.
✅ Safe Route Navigation for Women – An AI-powered system that maps secure routes based on crime data & community feedback.

I didn’t just create projects—I built solutions to real problems.

🚀 Breaking Free & Finding My Own Path
I stopped waiting for validation.
I stopped seeking approval from those who never believed in me.
I chose myself, my dreams, and my vision.

Now, I stand here—not just as a tech innovator but as proof that you don’t need a perfect start to build something great. I turned my struggles into stepping stones, my failures into lessons, and my doubts into determination.

💡 If you’re struggling, remember this:
You are NOT defined by your circumstances.
You are NOT limited by your past.
Your dreams are valid, and your success is possible.

I’m still on this journey, and this is just the beginning. 🚀

I cannot say I relate but I understand where you are coming from. Those projects of yours are something we need instigated as soon as possible, especially in third-world countries where security for women is a joke.

Hope you grow stronger and stronger!
